I am a Latina writer and academic living in Santa Barbara, California. I earned a MA in English Literature from California State University, Los Angeles and a Ph.D. in Comparative Mythology and Literature from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and I am a Professor of English Literature and Composition at Santa Barbara City College.
